Colour vibration creates a clear and direct resonance effect on the energy levels of our mind, body and spirit. Mood, actions, emotions, mental and our physical state can all be altered through the use of colour. Many civilisations have used colour therapy in different forms for thousands of years. Colour therapists use light in the form of colour to balance and enhance the body’s energy centres (chakras) to stimulate its own natural healing process. They also use their knowledge of how different colours affect us to make recommendations on incorporating colour into our daily life to achieve the desired outcome.
The first session begins by determining your personality colour which will help you understand more about yourself and how you interact with others. During the conversation, I’ll suggest which colours will bring you better balance and how to incorporate them into your daily life. You will then be invited to lie down or sit, fully clothed, as I assess the energy levels in your chakras. Using this information, together with your personality colour profile and how you’d like to feel at the end, I will use a combination of Reiki, coloured silks, crystals, essential oils, coloured glasses and Bioptron light. You may experience tingling sensations in any part of your body, warmth, cold, see colours or images behind closed eyes. The experiences during the session are very much individual. Afterwards, we’ll have a chat about the colours we’ve talked about and I may set you some “homework” which you’re welcome to bring with you to your next session so I can interpret it with you.
In subsequent sessions, I will use different colour therapy techniques plus Reiki healing, depending on the outcome of the first session and the issues that you’re looking to resolve.
